Internet Weather Sites


There are several Internet sites with information about weather. The links (blue underlined names) below are good places to start.

"Browse" means to read what you see on the page.

"Browse" means to look for interesting stuff.

Click on buttons.

Look at the pictures.

Try to figure it out!

  1. Print these directions. Go to the [File Menu] and choose "Print" or press APPLE-P. Keep the paper and check off the parts you finish.

  2. Click on one of the weather links below.

  3. Explore the site completely.

  4. Be ready to tell your teacher what you found there.

  5. Be ready to tell your teacher which one you think is best.

The Weather Channel - This site is sometimes slow. Be ready to click the{Stop Button} and try again.
CNN Weather - See the top weather news story.
USA Today Weather - The best for current conditions and forecasts.
AccuWeather - Easy to see maps and pictures taken from satellites. Also, type in a ZIP code and get the weather info.
