Part 5

Tourism has to do with why people would visit a state and what they would do or go to see while they were there.

While you were browsing (part 2) you might have bookmarked the tourism area.

Directions for Part 5:

 

1. Print these directions. Go to the [File Menu] and choose "Print" or press APPLE-P. Keep the paper and check off the parts you finish.
2. Find some information about tourism in your state.
3. Read and study the information.
4. Look at the pictures.
5. Read the picture captions.
6. Print the information about tourism. (Follow the directions below if you want to take a paragraph or two out the the site and print it)
7. Be prepared to discuss tourism in your state with your teacher.

Directions for printing just a paragraph or two from a web page:

1. Click, hold and drag your mouse over all the words you want to print.
2. Go to the [Edit Menu].
3. Choose "Copy".
4. Go to the [File Menu]
5. Choose "Quit" or APPLE-Q
6. Start the program SimpleText or ClarisWorks.
7. Go to the [Edit Menu].
8. Choose "Paste".
9. Go to the [File Menu].
10. Choose "Print" or APPLE-P
11. Click {OK}.
